Baby Boomers Enjoy Montego Bay

This was the only song that became a top 10 hit for Bobby Bloom. When I saw Bloom, I always wondered if it was really his voice. Remember Milli Vanilli?

Anyway, Bloom was killed in an accidental shooting a year after this song became popular (1971).

You call them "obscure" I call them one-hit wonders! Most of the artists I knew and loved had strings of hit so I had to dig deep in the archives to find songs like this.

This was a good song. Wow, I didn't know that there were music videos from 1971!

I think that there should be a special designation for artists that died after a short burst of flame. So sad.
