With a Little Help from my Baby Boomer Friends

This song was written for and sung by Beatles drummer Ringo Starr in 1967. I always wondered what they were talking about when they said, "I get high with a little help from my friends." I would imagine some fellow baby boomers know since Woodstock was just around the corner.

OK, so come on and sing along:

Yep, the Fab Four certainly changed our lives--and we did get by with a little help from them!

They, along with the Temptations, changed the way I listened to music. They also set the standards by which many other groups would follow.

The Beatles make me happy!

I didn't like them so much during their ya ya ya start, but when their creative juices got going, I loved them.

Truthfully, I've always thought this was one of the better parts of a song the Beatles ever had.
